Glad it wasn’t your issue!

I’ve had some strange issues with my alienware (with Mint 8.1, or 8.something)
where, after a suspend the WiFi doesn’t work. A reboot is required to fix (and
fix it does).

Since I regularly have a LOT of context set up on stuff I’m working on, a
reboot isn’t a good thing.

So, I worked around THAT issue by using VirtualBox to run all my development
work that I want the environment saved for, and non-virtualbox for all my web
browsing and so forth. Works great. Yes, it’s a workaround, but its one I’m
pretty happy with.

I was Happily typing away when suddenly I Had no internet. I asked my roommate
to reset the modem but she said that her internet was up that was further
confirmed by her friend. So its is only the computers in my room that are down
I have two of them. What is the problem?
