I'm a PHP dev and do not work with C. I understand most of Linux is written in C. There are others who know more than I.

I have the soft cover of this book https://www.dipmat.univpm.it/~demeio/public/the_c_programming_language_2.pdf I think it is a good book.

I happened upon this site some time ago : https://www.cprogramming.com/

Someone who does Open Source Linux programming might have better feedback.

I’m interested in open source projects. I would like to help those with disabilities to use a computer for anything. But the software isn’t out there to help those with disabilities. I know because I’m disabled and deaf.

Very noble! I'm not disabled but software does not seem to be well
designed for the disabled.

I always learned best from books, but good books are hard to find, and
pricey since they are, well, made of paper usually. I personally don't
learn as effectively from ebooks, but what'cha gonna do.

There's nothing inherently wrong with online resources and tutorials as
long as its done well.
