You can make this selection in the sub-menu which appears, when you set to legacy mode. I'm using Linux on D865GBF and seagate SATA without any problems.
I think legacy mode is required only for distributions with older kernel. Distros with 2.6.x kernel do detect SATA without any problem. e.g. SuSE 9.0 didn't detect SATA, so required legacy mode. But SuSE 9.1 detected SATA. -- "The Power to Imagine, is The Power to Create!" -TTux -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
