I too faced the same , try this and it should work.
After setting the Drive mode to Legacy change the
drive sequence below to [SATA P0/P1 | PATA Pri/sec]
where SATA Drives become derault followed by your PATA
devices such as CDROM.
pls note here u don't need to provide any drivers
during installation so don't give the linux=dd
command.
choosing Disk Druid will show u your disks.
revert back.
