I request the moderators to ban mails which are
directed at people.
I also request the moderators to send mail to the
group telling the guidelines to post mails.
The experience with this group is really v. bad. The
v. 1st mail that I sent was asking for help on lycoris
linux. And the replies that I got were so demeaning!
Hence in the 2nd mail that I asked for modem help, I
clearly mentioned not to act too smart!
A person should be allowed to strongly disagree with
the views. But personal bashing should be stopped.
There was this incidence in which a person asked for
help regarding Outlook express and connection problem
to linsux. And what he got was a totally useless and
crappy ALL CAPS reply. Didnt the person who replied in
ALL CAPS have the brains to know that the client can
be anything and the pop server can be running on liux.
If this is just a forum of linux os, then stop even
the mails regarding firefox since it works on windows
and mac. Even apache questions shouldnt be entertained
(if ever they come), since apache runs even on windows
and other unix.
All-in-all totally mannerless mails.
And now since I am at it, let me also mention that I
also noticed people using words like windoze and
windos. Is this a LINSUCKS forum or a windows bashing
one?!
