Hello, I have a vcd of 'ice age' and it is refusing to open with either mplayer 1.0pre3 on FC1(2.4 or 2.6.3) and kaffiene on suse 9.1. On console mplayer i get:- Playing /mnt/cdrom/mpegav/music01.dat. Cache fill: 0.00% (0 bytes) LMLM4 Stream Format not found I have a sneaking suspicion of having seen this movie on FC1 , i.e before i compiled a 2.6 kernel. So i installed w32codec & all mplayer packages. On net i found that mplayer is supposed to play this format. Another suggestion was installing XFree86- devel even that has not helped. How to find out format of vcd? i think it is a divx-mpeg4 and it plays fine on xp. I don't want to download mplayer on my dial-up. thanks. Ranjit.
