Hi, I live near Mahashi Karve Exchange and had registered for the BSNL Broadband. Today I received call for connection and making the payments. I have selected Home 500 plan (256 kbps), with modem on rent.
I had a querry to the exchange about connectivity on Linux Mr. Joshi, Engineer in the exchange, was very helpful and tried to contact a number of persons with relevant kowledge. The information I received indicated that Yes, you can use Linux for Dataone connectivity, but the details were not known. (However, it can be connected with Win 98, no need for Win XP.) I'll be making payment on Thursday and probably need help in setting up the connection on my Linux box (MDK 10.1 Official). Any pointers on what I would need?
