(we assume that there are atleast as many good people in this world as there are evil). the same could be said for closed source systems too. but in their case, the security experts are a small group of paid employees. here, the source is open to all who think of themselves as able. as for microsofts' claims, thats all FUD. and is linux more secure? a quick google search should give you links to 2-3 studies. make your own conclusions.
