In the security sense all major applications running on Linux have matured to a high level of security as many independent researchers and commercial organizations have audited the code time and again.
MS on the other hand still needs lots of bug bashing to be done : ) , hence the saying you can run but you cant hide.

Hi,
I hope u all must be aware of Microsoft's statement over Linux.According to them Linux's security claims are hyped and exaggerated.I was just thinking of the same,isnt Linux, more vulnerable to security threats as its source code is known by everyone?
