While trying to figure out how to get my USB camera to work (Mandrake 10.2 beta 3) I came across some one who posted on an online forum (www.mandrakeusers.org i think) that there was some controversy about USB and these things might be off mainline/vanilla kernels... Also, I've seen lots of people and websites recommending not to compile your own kernel rather use your distributers releases... -- "Thou shalt not follow the null pointer for at it's end madness and chaos lie." -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([email protected]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
