Hi all,
I am doing a project for my college. Basically
I am doing a website internal to my college LAN which
will accept links to download software of the net. (as
I had discussed in the last meeting)
I want to make project platform independent. I am
using Apache, Mysql and PHP which takes care of the
front end.
I have to write a layer of glue which will accept the
download TCP requests from the webserver and then
download the files using say wget.
So, basically which language should I use? Java and
Python are the choices that I am looking at.
