Hi... 1) Yes that was a broad generalization ;-) ... but Kodak, Nikion, Panasonic, Samsung, Nokia, O2, Imate (last 3 for phones)... and many others do go for SD/MMC cards. 2) Yup older card readers were indeed flimsy... but just take a look at my reader with card....
