I don't understand the purpose of this message. I suppose everyone subscribed to this mailing list is some sort of Linux user - novice, intermediate or expert. So what is the need to tell them which open source applications are available on windows? Won't it be good instead to tell which are the useful applications on linux for a particular purpose e.g. electronics design. Please ignore if you think my view is wrong.
