+++ Shirish Agarwal [PLUG] [29-11-05 20:55 +0530]: | Hi all, | I've just installed Ubuntu 5.10 in my dual-boot box. I'm using D-Link 502T for BSNL broadband & | using the USB interface from windows without any issues. Would like to use the same in Ubuntu. The D-Link | 502T Modem/Router is not always on. The web interface leads me to believe that its also is Linux-based. | Now these are the readings which I got from the lsusb commands when the modem/router is plugged in
Have a look at this BSNL page [1]. Only Type-I supports USB. Other doesn't. So, USB is not the preferred interface. Try ethernet. :) Shantanoo 1. http://bsnl.co.in/service/dataone_tariff.htm#Modem%20on%20Outright%20purchase -- -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([email protected]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
