I am able to ping to (self) wirless interface wlan0 ip address which
make me feel that problem is now with some other settings such as
access point, freqency or anything else... but any suggestions are

Can you configure you wireless router with no encryption? No WEP, no
WPA, ...
Enable dhcp server on the router and try 'dhclient <interface>'
