How much RAM do these systems have? You could try installing a base system of debian and then manually install the X packages and a lightweight window manager like fluxbox. Manually installing packages will help you avoid daemon processes you dont need. You can even remove unwanted daemon processes from the base debian install using something like 'sysv-rc-conf'. -aditya -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([email protected]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
