Looks like compiling the driver from source is involved in this case. A bit of casual googling revealed the following seemingly useful links: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-504849.html http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=420&OSID=25&CatID=2580&SubCatID=164 Th situation is bad as is evident from reading the first link. In case you are too new to the business of compiling_kernels_and_making_them_work and have the choice/means to get another machine with some mainstream video, do that. Good luck. -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([email protected]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
