I met with an accident due to which I had to come home to fix myself.
As promised on the IRC channel I have jotted down all the ideas which
I had to suggest in today's meetup. Please have a look at the text

Below I have listed a few ideas and suggestions for events:
1)A topic in a day type workshops.
-This would be something like "drupal in a day" type workshop which
would be divided into 2-3 levels depending on content to be covered
in each topic, so there will be 2 or 3 events for a topic and at the end people
will have complete knowledge of that topic.
2)Interactive session with the general crowd:
-The idea of this is taken from an ACM event which was hosted in my
college where we and an NGO worked together to host an event which was
focused on knowledge sharing between IT students and old people.
3)Workshops in schools:
-I feel that we could keep some basic level workshops where we go to
schools and talk to students on what is linux and foss.
4)Hackathons:
-More hackathons like the clipart hackathons should be conducted.
Suggestion: A theme should be decided well before the hackathons.
5)Know each other:
-I guess we have to learn more about each other before going ahead with
all these events, I guess we cant have a day event where all the active
members come and talk to other on what they have done. I guess this will help
us to figure out what kind of events can be hosted with ease. _______________________________________________
