[plug] slack X11 mouse cut&paste

hi pluggers,

I'm having problem with my mouse's cut&paste in X11 using slackware
7.  Does anybody here had the same problem.  I've tried everything from
the gpm manuals but I still couldn't get it working on X11 although it
does work in console mode.  

any help would be greatly appreciated.
