Has anyone ever used part.exe? Also known as Ranish Partition Manager.
http://come.to/ranish  ->  http://www.users.intercom.com/~ranish/part/
It was at version 2.38 Beta 1.9 as of Sept. 21, 1999, but unfortunately
shareware. Version 2.37 was the last freeware version, with source code
in the public domain. I found it in Mandrake6.1, under /bonus/part.
Fips also gave me a headache, but part worked pretty well, it not only
had it's own boot manager, but could also work in gui mode, with color
codes to show Linux, Unix and Win32/16 partitions.
The last Partition Magic I met was 4.0, and it choked on my hda4 ext2fs
partition. It reported my 1 Gig ext2fs hdb as 66 Meg. I used the same
version a year ago to resize my FAT32 hda to install freesco. It was a
breeze. I wonder what PM version Caldera is using? I did see a 5.0
version yesterday.
