Is this microsoft specific? or chili soft? irregardless, anyway, there is a
Directive in apache if you're using apache that does this. or you can do it
manually but it's not the correct way.

doing it manually, (it's not a good habit to do this but it works). 
ln -s thispage.asp thispage.html

pero kung ganito yata, nawawalan ng saysay ang .ASP extension. Check it na
lang kung sino ang mananalo, if it's the linux how it handles the file
system or apache. Then tell us.
