Thanks to Orly Andico, I was able to download a copy of BeOS. It installed
fine on my ancient computer which has a Cyrix 233 CPU and only 32 MB EDO
RAM. However, it did not support my generic CMI 8330 sound card so I had
to download a driver from Bebits (Be's software site). Luckily for me the
driver works. One thing puzzles me though, is that if I disable sound in
windows, it is also disabled in BeOS.

In Linux, I had to make some changes in my conf.modules and my isapnp.conf
files just to make my sound card work. Sndconfig detects the CMI 8330 chip
but it could not properly configure it.

The only other problem I encountered with BeOS is I could not make a dialup
connection to Infocom. But Mozcom works just fine.

I like that BeOS loads fast in my computer even faster than Bill's.
However, I still need to get used to moving about in BEOS. I still do'nt
know how to configure its "window manager" to fit my needs. For me BeOs is
very interesting. It is like a combination of a lot of OSes. It is like
Windows, Mac OS, and Linux rolled into one.
