Before anything else, does the PLUG digest mode allow for sending email to the list?
If so, eGroups has a feature called "aliases" which allow multiple email addresses to
be registered under one account for "post-only" subscription, although the primary
email is the receiving email address.
It can be accessed via the MyProfile link <http://www.egroups.com/myprofile>.
Otherwise, the only benefit of having post-only accounts is for those with multiple
email accounts.
If this is a wanted feature, why not let the list allow people to have "aliases"
provided that they have a primary account (which is send and receive)? This way,
spammers can be tracked down, and the primary account holder (under whose name is
registered the post-only account) is to be blamed...
Just an idea, though.
