[plug] Telnet problem

Problem:  my client box can't telnet to the server.  What did I miss out?
Both client & server are running RH6.0.

  [root@rambutan /root]# telnet beechwood
  Trying 10.0.20.5...
  Connected to beechwood.
  Escape character is '^]'.

  (...after 5 seconds...)

  Connection closed by foreign host
