Filipinos really have a perverse sense of pride. Remember the brouhaha
over Andrew Cunanan (I that that's what his name was) the gay prostitute
who murdered Versace? there also was a sick outpouring of "pride" at that
time. While that Fil-Am mail carrier who was murdered by a white
supremacist didn't get a second thought.
As for script-kiddies.. the first thought that went through MY mind was,
if I cared to duplicate ILOVEYOU I'd take care to cover up my tracks more
thoroughly. That's the thing: I mentioned in a past post that a lot of
people on PLUG could duplicate Onel de Guzman's feat with a little study
(and do it better). I know I could. But we have better things to do with
our time.
