I've tried to turn on "shingling" (gs -dShingling=2) which allegedly enables multipass interlaced printing on the HP inkjet driver. However while there is a *small* improvement in quality, it's still way behind Windoze in best-quality mode. I have looked for alternative software and there is this thing called XW_TOOLS (non open-source) which I will test out now. I will probably scan all the printed output later for quality comparison so that interested folks can also see the quality differences. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Orlando Andico <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> POTS Phone: +63 (2) 937-2293 Mosaic Communications, Inc.
