Thanks to Edwin Linux Fan, I got interested in X terminals and network
booting. Now I have a few questions.
1. What brand and model of NIC is available in the local market which can
be used for network booting?
2. How much is it and where can I get it?
3. Is there any company which already sell it with the needed eprom chip
just like in www.disklessworkstations.com? If not I guess ordering the $
15 dollar eprom from www.disklessworkstations.com is an option.
4. Is there someone here who has an eprom programming device? I am sure
UP does but do can they do it for you?
5. What is the ideal server hardware specs. for 5-10 X terminals?
6. What are the differences in using VNC and Xserver type X Terminals?
Which is better?
