Brand New ScanMAker X6EL (from Villman,
tell them I told you)
Sane and Sane development installed
Downloaded Xsane from the net.
./configure, make, make install
find-scanner
chmod 2666 the scanner /dev files (2 of them)
run GIMP
make a link to xsane /usr/local/bin/xsane in the
.gimp/plugins directory
restart Gimp
At XTNS -> Xsane
ha ha ha Scan your cute little pictures!
Goodbye Windoze... at last.
(But I'm still saving windoze for StarLancer!)
