according to the Linux IDE Guy, Andre Hedrick ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) this is due
to the kernel accessing an ATA-66 device with an ATA-33 host adapter. he
says that you need to verify that the "controller is in the correct mode
and the drive is back-speed to the correct transfer rate" (his words).
more on this later. me gonna experiment with some new hot iron.
