Consider the following scenario:
1. I copy all contents of the RedHat 6.2 CD onto my HD, and replace
all updated rpms by their corresponding latest versions from
the updates directory of RedHat.
2. I know how to make a bootable CD from this, but I also
know that this will not install, since the database of rpms
is not yet updated, and the Redhat install scripts will not
see the updated versions of the rpms yet.
Migs told me that I have to run a program to update the database.
Any one knows what this program is?
