hi!
i got 2 redhat machines both running squid. ive cascaded the two.
here's the setup:
INTERNET -------[e0]SQUID1[e1]----+-----[e2]SQUID2

En
workstations
e0=live ip, routable ip, 202.168.5.x
e1=10.10.10.5
e2 and En = 10.10.20.x
SQUID2.conf :
cache_peer 10.10.10.5 parent 3128 3130
facts:
1. squid1 is a dns server also.
2. workstatns can surf the net via squid2.
3. workstations can also surf via squid1 BUT the requirement is
via squid2.
Question: cant login to web based emails (those urls having cgi-bin)
i have tried un-commenting and commenting the line
hierarchy_stoplist cgi-bin ? but still wont work. browsers
jst hangup at "host contacted waiting for reply"
any ideas?
