Yes, im aware of this. Our LAN presently consists of a mix of win98, 95's,
NT's and oh yes, 2 or 3 Windows for Workgroups (!). Yes, they should have
been upgraded long ago, but well, why they managed to survive is entirely
another story. What i normally do is modify the registry of clients to
enable clear-text passwords, so samba can authenticate all types of win
clients. But this is something I dont want to do anymore. So i guess i'll
just have to wait 'til all clients can be upgraded already.
