I've used MySQL for more than a year in a production environment here in
MosCom. So I'm not just denigrating MySQL without reason. And I was really
happy with it. But you know.. in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is
king. MySQL IS a toy compared to Oracle. I didn't really deploy Pg, but
I've used it. And ease-of-use wise, it's about the same level as Oracle.
And, I suspect, like MySQL, compared to Oracle it is equally toylike.

If you value your data..

But if you're just storing IMP address books or web counter stats, I'm
sure MySQL or Pg will be good enough for you.
