while on the topic of Reading as a source of knowledge, i would also 
recommend being on the lookout for E-Book CD's which could be found 
"sometimes" on those bootleg CD outlets. I myself have found CD's about 
Redhat 5.2 (complete with howtos and mini-howtos plus administration 
guides), and FreeBSD. also, there is another E-Book CD that i know 
containing copies of different PERL books (PERL 5 in 21 days, etc...). If 
you are going to sum up the prices of these individual books, it might be 
prohibitive pero the E-Book CD cost about P200 only.
