#_ Would anyone know how I can fix this, considering I still cannot use
#_ Pacific Internet's SMTP server as a relay for my purposes (like now, I'm
#_ using I-Manila's SMTP but my from is @leather-collection.com. As long as
#_ I'm not attempting this procedure when logged in from any other ISP,
#_ things work. To be honest, I wish this client didn't insist on Pacific.
#_ Darned it.)? I'm getting in touch with Pacific Internet's tech support to
#_ appeal for relaying to be permitted from their network, but I honestly
#_ don't know how far I'll get with this, and when things will change.

#_ Thanks in advance. :)

I had a similar problem. I am a subscriber of Iconnect and my postfix is
setup to relay to mail.iconn.com.ph; but all of a sudden, for no apparent
reason, I get host not found error from Postfix (or something to that
effect). The way I fixed this (after four days of scratching my head, and
not getting any valid answers from iconnect's tech support) is: using
nslookup I got the IP address of the mail server and used that instead.

relay_host=203.176.4.4:25

hope this helps.
