hello pipol,

I have repartioned a 13 GB (IDE) harddisk into several partitions:
Here's dmesg output:

Partition check:
 hda: hda1 hda2 hda3 < hda5 hda6 > hda4

Here's fdisk output:\
/dev/hda1 * 1 320 2570368+ c Win95 FAT32 (LBA)
   mounted on /fat32
/dev/hda2 321 502 1461915 83 Linux
   mounted on /

/dev/hda3 503 883 3060382+ 5 Extended
/dev/hda5 503 518 128488+ 82 Linux swap
/dev/hda6 519 883 2931831 83 Linux
   mounted on /usr

/dev/hda4 884 1583 5622750 b Win95 FAT32
mounted on /datadisk (both accessible to Linux and Windows)

I did this to enable multi booting of my system to Windows 98 and Linux.
I have 4 primary partitions with on subdivided in to logical ones (hda3).
In my fstab file, I could mount hda1, hda2, hda6 and hda5 as my swap.
Problem is that I could not mount hda4, it reports:

[MS-DOS FS Rel. 12,FAT 0,check=n,conv=b,uid=0,gid=0,umask=022,bmap]
[me=0x0,cs=0,#f=0,fs=0,fl=0,ds=0,de=0,data=0,se=0,ts=0,ls=0,rc=0,fc=4294967295]
Transaction block size = 512
VFS: Can't find a valid MSDOS filesystem on dev 03:04.

But this file system can be accessed by Windows 98. Also btw, hda3 primary
partition is viewed by Windows as a logical drive (E:) with MSDOS fdisk as
an Extended DOS partition.

Any suggestions,

TIA,

Christian
