[plug] New Apache Admin Needs Your Advice...

Hi guys!
I put up a couple of web sites for some companies.
Now they want to post news about their happenings by
themselves.  Maybe a scrollable news window...

I'm thinking a password protected entry using .htpassword
Then a CGI script ala guestbook but only to the owner.

I don't know where to start!

Can you lead me out of this problem?
What should I use?
