I'm currently using KDE, but I have realistic plans of moving to GNOME
(perhaps this sem break, when I'll have more time to breathe). Together
with this move I plan to support AbiWord, Gnumeric, and a number of other
components of Helix, instead of using StarOffice, which I find is too
Window-y, especially with that blasted Start menu.
I don't have anything major against KDE. It's been working pretty well,
and overall I think it's still an okay environment + window manager. It is
very Window-y, though, and I plan to move to GNOME because development
there seems to be more radical (read: non-Windows-clone) and more
exciting.
While we're on the topic of change ... would anyone have a CD of the
latest Helix packages? And is Debian 2.2 (Potato) out, yet?
--> Jijo :-)
