Hint: Get Mandrake 7.1; you've got both KDE and GNOME and you desktop is
complete, not to mention your menus contain _both_ kde and gnome apps.
And the Helic GNOME packages are included with it as well.
But the best part of 7.1 is reiserfs. I've sort of gotten dejavu back to the
days when in DOS - i'd just shut the power off without shutting down. Works
like a charm. No fscks. Really really beats the hell out of having to accept
tech support calls on servers with their plugs pulled from the socket
accidentally.
