Ok, although most distro's still include quota_v1
so i think the kernel has quota_v2 support unless there are other
things i don't know of. When I use quotaon, I always receive this error
quotaon: using //aquota.user on /dev/sda3 [/]: No such process
quotaon: Quota format not supported in kernel.
have you loaded the quota_v2 module?
also what fs are you using? have you enable quota support for that fs in
the kernel?
