If you have Emacs in Windows already, you can start reading the Emacs
Manual by doing Alt-x Info (commonly written as M-x Info), press `m',
then type in `Emacs', and hit <Enter>. 

There's also a *lot* of useful info at the Emacs Wiki[1]
