i played with syslog-ng for a while but had to stop it to give way to

the syslog-ng mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) there were
mentions of bugs using TCP and
stunnel to deliver the logs and suggested
workarounds coupled with some restarting some daemons when syslog-ng
starts :(
