the sveasoft firmware for linksys wireless routers can do all the
above. of course it's no coincidence the broadcom-based linksys
routers are linux-based.

of course if you're running squid, the router is out.

as for mr. berris' points, they are all true. BUT if you're a soho/SME
with no windows "LAN manager" person, much less a linux geek, onboard,
mr. berris' various flexibilities are totally out of the question
anyway.
