or how about smoothwall anybody tried it? its got ids,firewall,vpn and web management interface in it, how about a diy box, with dual 10/100/1000 lan, in a micro-atx case, get two of those, so now you have redundancy, cost-wise low,(since everything needed is on-board) mobo+ide-drive+case, bout 14k on the high side na siguro.
