oninz,
As far as i can remember, there are some registry patches (or tweaks)
needed for win2k and XP in order for them to join a domain with samba as
a PDC. But the last time i tried the samba PDC with xp and 2k as clients
was more than a year ago (in a lab environment), and i remember i failed
to implement a roaming profile back then, but i was able to make them
authenticate and join the domain.
what howto or document are you using anyway?

Gurus,
I have a problem on my configuration on samba 3
running on CentOS 4 acting as PDC, i cannot join in my
windows 2000 pro and windows XP to my samba PDC using
dynamic creation of trust machine account, manually
executing useradd -g 100 -d /dev/null -c "comp. nick" -s
/bin/false computername$
has no problem but when i used this config on smb.conf
add machine script = /usr/sbin/useradd -s /bin/false
-d /dev/null %u
joining win2k prompt me an error "cannot find user
account"
extra help is much appreaciated...
