Anybody here who has tried installing [K]Ubuntu Hoary or any other Linux distro with the root "/" on a SATA hard disk? I'm having difficulties migrating my PATA hard disk to a SATA hard disk because Kubuntu can't see the partion (/dev/sda1) where the "/" is. Any suggestions?
