Hi to all!

I manage a small internet cafe with 10 workstations. I
am currently using Mandriva 2005 LE on all my units
and so far, I am satisfied with the performance.

However, I am planning to convert the whole set-up
into LTSP for experimentation purposes (i am
relatively new to Linux) and my questions are:

1. What is the ideal hardware set-up of the server
(harddisk, memory, processor, network cards, etc.)?

2. What is the ideal set-up for the client (processor,
memory, network cards, etc.)?

I have this current set-up:

Switch: CNET CNSH 1600 Powerswitch

PC Set-up (all are the same)

AMD Athlon XP 2500 (1.9x GHz)
Redfox M7VIG400 (built-in LAN)
256 MB memory
NVIDIA FX5200 128MB video
60Gig harddisk on the server (all have 40Gig)

The set-up will run typical office applications, web
browser, chat and some games (if i have time to tinker
with Wine or Cedega).

Any help given to a newbie like me will be greatly
appreciated.

Salamat po!!!

Mabuhay LINUX!!!!!
