I got the "unbranded" 5.25" ME-320UF FW/USB2.0 for about P1,800 _way
before_ the sellers had a clue as to what they were selling. I found
out later on that this "unbranded" enclosure was the same one being
sold as "Bytecc".

The unit I originally purchased used an Oxford 911 chipset, but later
variations of this same enclosure goes with the Prolific chipset. Some
other enclosures use the Initio chipset.

I've stuck to Oxford's chipsets as they work best with the Mac, but I
hear that Prolific has some issues with Linux.
