i have some requests... since I am interested in using Linux and I have only a tiny idea about what I am entering into.
1. any pinoy write-up up about pros and cons of using a linux?... well philippine experience particularly a home-based non-technical user. in short, i'd like to know more about why use linux?
2. any write-up or pointers about installing linux in my laptop? hmm... this might be similar to a step-by-step guide to using linux for idiots!
a little background.
i have a branded laptop, it comes with a licenced xp and office. (great!)
but the rest of my softwares come from that P80-a piece cd installers from greenhills! (great too!)
but linux and some other freewares are said to be available online so why not try it. kaso lang, i do not know where to begin.
