Suggestion:
PLUG should put up a "linux-advanced" mailing list. Since there are far more "newbies in need" than "advanced users who don't like reading newbie questions" it's better to have an advanced list for the newbie-intolerant, rather than relegate the newbies to a list nobody reads.

kung ganun ang sitwasyon, yung plug main na lang ang gawing catch-all. yun ay kung mag lalagay ng linux-advance. kasi kahit sino, lalo na pag beginner e sa plug main nagpopost, at kadalasan pag beginner hindi nagbabasa so hindi nila nababasa na may plug-newbies pala, so sa plug main sila nagpopost.

exactly my point, telling newbies to "go post on the newbie list" (which nobody reads anyway) is unnecessarily exclusive.

so it's better to have the general PLUG list as the newbie catch-all, and the antisocial jerks like myself can just read plug-advanced or plug-oldbies or whatever it is  :)
